About GD / FAQ

How popular is Glittering Ditch?

Not popular at all. Each of the humans in the elite group known as GD product owners enjoys a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. The odds of two people coming face to face while repping Glittering Ditch are extremely low.  Furthermore, we expect the popularity of this brand to assume an even lower, slinkier profile so as to become nearly imperceptible. Be part of this fascinating stage of our history.

Why do these products exist?

Stuff happens in the world. Decisions are made, movements start, institutions decay, power shifts, people act out, people create stuff, people ruin things. It affects all of our lives in crazy ways. Once we’ve internalized it and let rattle around for a time, we feel it’s healthy to get it out. Our designs try to distill that output into unique expressions that a few people might appreciate.  When we say few we understand it may be very few.

Is this stuff as random as it seems?

Depends on how you look at it. Some individual designs are purely random creations. Maybe they’ll connect with sympathetic, oddball souls. But if you examine our collections – Shared Future, Chunks of America, MasterCorp and Murky Mirror – you may find some common themes and underlying messages that start to bring things together.

How do I connect with The Ditch?

If you check out our stuff and smile, or nod in agreement, or shake your head and wonder WTF, you'd be a candidate to connect on Instagram. You may also choose to sign up for our mailing list on the left side of this page. Doing both may turn out to be a good pair of moves, like alley and oop.

How are your products produced?

Aside from a few domestically made shirts, most garments and hats are sewn in foreign lands. All shirts are printed in the USA with a direct-to-garment printing process. Our hats are embroidered and mugs are printed to order in the USA.
